Welcome

I am Tim Onnes. Those who like crosswords will have already worked out the origins of ‘Sonnet’. I live in Upper Hutt, New Zealand, about 30 kilometres north of the capital, Wellington. For supporters of Wellington Rugby note the black and gold website design.

I am developing a career as a professional photographer. My work currently is centred on photographing events for my old school, Hutt International Boys School. These events cover theatre, sports, prize giving and house events. You will see a selection of these photographs in the gallery. I also photograph wedding for friends and family.

I share my photographic enthusiasm with my stepfather, Ben Thomas who is passionate about cricket and trains but enjoys photographing a range of sports. He is also quite good at chess, but this does not lend itself to action photgraphy.
